Chris Bound
Senior Partner
Chris Bound is Senior Partner of
Collas Crill in Guernsey. He is also a partner in the Property
team.
Chris's experience is diverse and
spans the spectrum of commercial transactions with good
understanding of all areas of work undertaken by Collas Crill,
acquired through several decades of practice. He has extensive
experience of team management (lawyers and other professionals) in
major transactions. He now specialises in commercial property
development and finance transactions acting for landlords, tenants
and funders in significant office and retail developments. Chris
has been involved in almost all the major developments in Guernsey
in the last eleven years.
Chambers Europe 2013 recognises
Chris as a heavyweight in the Island's property sector. Rising to
the top tier in individual rankings, Chris is noted as a 'key
figure in the department and is greatly admired for his vast
experience and commercial approach.' One client remarks that
'His knowledge is second to none. You know that no stone will
be left unturned when Chris is on the case.'

that Chris has 'good experience and industry knowledge'. IFLR 1000
2010 cited: 'Chris Bound is excellent, he's able to understand a
problem quickly and his fees are quite competitive'.
Chris has been Senior Partner since 2009, prior to which he was
Managing Partner for 6 years. He was admitted to the Guernsey Bar
1988, after joining Collas Crill in 1987. Until 1987 Chris was
an in-house lawyer with a public group in London. He is a Notary
Public, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and a
member of STEP.
