    Collas Crill acted for Walter Property Limited (the well established Guernsey and Jersey property investment holding company) and a joint venture partner in the acquisition of Les Galeries Du Manoir, the former Manor Stores complex at St Martins, Guernsey. The site comprises of an Iceland store, off licence, pharmacy, doctor's surgery, sports clinic, bank, shop and seven flats. The multi million pound transaction was led by partner Jason Green and which encompassed a review of the freehold title, a review of all the leases, the grant of a new lease back to a group company of the vendor and the acquisition (together with due diligence) of the corporate owner, Trade Savers C.I Limited. A separate team at Collas Crill led by partner Paul Nettleship dealt with the financing aspects for the Royal Bank of Scotland International Limited.

    Acted for C.I. Property Fund in relation to the fund-raising and bank financing in respect of the acquisition of a substantial commercial property in Jersey.  The Guernsey corporate team advised the board of the fund on all aspects connected with the financing of the acquisition; the Jersey corporate and property teams advised on the acquisition itself.  At the fund is CISX listed and UK fund-raisers were involved the matter required more corporate input than a typical property acquisition and involved liaising extensively with CISX, sponsors and service providers.
