Marcus Hinkley

Marcus is a Group Partner and Head of
Fiduciary in Guernsey.
Marcus has extensive experience
in advising institutional trustees and
private individuals on a wide variety of private and
commercial trust arrangements, including the responsibilities
as trustee, wealth planning structures, private trust companies,
pension advice, unit trusts, securitisations and other structured
finance arrangements.
In Legal 500 2011 Marcus is praised
for 'his international experience'.
He previously worked in
the Trust department of Maples and Calder and as
in-house legal counsel for Citco Trustees in the Cayman
Islands, and dating back to 2001, at Harneys in the British
Virgin Islands. He started his legal career in New Zealand as a
commercial lawyer before specialising in trust law. His experience
working in-house at Citco Trustees in the Cayman Islands adds
a particularly commercial approach to his advice. He is a member of
the Guernsey branch of STEP (Society of Trust Estate
Practitioners).
