Consultation published - taxation of residential property in the UK
Update // June 2012
We attach an explanatory note following the publication of the UK consultation on the taxation of residential property.

While the proposed changes for the most part remain subject to consultation, it is highly likely that the proposals will be introduced in 2013.

You need to take action now to review your property portfolios in order to identify any residential property that might be worth over £2 million. You should also consider any properties that are just below this threshold (or potentially likely to exceed this threshold in the near future).

With our expertise in corporate, fiduciary and UK property law, Collas Crill are uniquely placed to assist you with property structuring - so please don't hesitate to contact us.
