Managing Partner
Kathryn is a partner in Collas Crill's Dispute Resolution team.
Kathryn is an experienced commercial litigator specialising in
civil fraud and asset recovery, contentious trust work and property
litigation. Her clients have included the first defendant in the
Alhamrani trusts litigation, the largest case ever heard by
Jersey's Royal Court.
Chambers and Partners 2010 praise
Kathryn's 'sharp intellect and excellent organisational skills'.
Legal 500 2009 says that Kathryn 'combines the intellectual
capacity of a specialist Chancery counsel with tremendous
commercial nous'.
Prior to joining the firm in July 2005, Kathryn was a
member of Serle Court, a leading commercial and chancery set of
barristers' chambers in London with close links to Jersey. Kathryn
remains an associate member of Serle Court and a member of the
Chancery Bar Association. Kathryn was called to the English Bar in
1991. She was sworn in as an advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey
in February 2008. She is a member of the Fraud Network, a
multi-jurisdictional association of specialist fraud lawyers.
She was managing partner of the Jersey office from 2009 to May
2012. She was heavily involved in the merger process and believes
that experience of management and business issues makes for a more
effective lawyer.
