Guernsey Grant of Probate
When Executors, family or friends of a deceased need to release
assets held by their loved one in Guernsey, they may be asked to
produce a 'Guernsey Probate' or 'Guernsey Grant of
Probate'. Alternatively, they may be asked to arrange for the
Grant of Probate issued in the deceased's country of domicile
to be resealed in the 'Ecclesiastical Court of Guernsey'. The
Ecclesiastical Court of Guernsey, amongst other duties, acts as
Guernsey's Probate Registry.
We at Collas Crill have many years' experience in making Probate
applications in Guernsey. We are able to assist in obtaining
the Grant of Probate only or, if required, arrange release and
payment of the Guernsey assets depending on your
requirements.
