About St Catherine's Sailing Club
Established in 1953, St Catherine's Sailing Club is Jersey's largest dinghy sailing club, and the most southerly sailing club in the British Isles. It offers a wide range of events, sailing and racing, as well as training courses. A large part of its heritage is encouraging new generations into grass roots dinghy sailing.
Martin Speller of St Catherine's Sailing Club said: 'St Catherine's is a wonderful club – incredibly friendly and welcoming. At this particular time, when everyone needs some time outside and away from things, we have seen a huge interest in sailing and the lessons that we provide as a club. It is a great time to get into sailing and on the water.'
