Guernsey Document Duty update

It has been announced today that the Document Duty (Guernsey) Law, 2017 and the Document Duty (Anti-Avoidance) (Guernsey) Law, 2017, received Royal Assent on 11th October, 2017.

It is proposed that, subject to the approval of the necessary Ordinances by the Legislative Review Panel and the registration of the Orders in Council by the Royal Court on 13th November, 2017, the new regime will commence on 15th November, 2017.
