Simon is the firm’s representative in Hong Kong, drawing on his many years of experience in Asia to develop both new and existing relationships.
He works alongside partners and other fee earners in all of the firm’s offices, particularly the Singapore office, to extend Collas Crill's international reach.
Simon is a former solicitor and has practised both in Hong Kong and in England. In addition, he has twenty years experience at senior level with two highly reputable offshore trust companies in Hong Kong and Jersey.
Simon originally moved to Hong Kong in 1986 to work for a local firm of solicitors. In 1997 he joined an international fiduciary services provider (formerly known as Equity Trust), as managing director in Hong Kong before moving to the Channel Islands in 2000.
Subsequently, Simon joined Ogier Fiduciary Services in Jersey as a director, where he remained until 2012. Following his return to Hong Kong in 2012 he became a partner in MJ Hudson, a registered foreign law firm until 2016. He has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners for over 10 years.
