Justin joined Collas Crill's Cayman office as an associate in the dispute resolution team in January 2018.

Justin's practice has seen him advise a wide range of commercial clients on contentious and non-contentious issues, with a particular emphasis on insolvency and restructuring.

His practice has included advising banking institutions, insolvency practitioners and company directors on a wide array of complex issues arising out of insolvent corporate trustees, securities enforcement and contentious commercial matters.

Prior to joining Collas Crill, Justin worked for leading Australian law firms, most recently Clayton Utz in the Perth office.

His recent cases have included:

  • Advising liquidators in a matter in the Court of Appeal of Western Australia in relation to complex preference recoveries
  • Advising liquidators in relation to proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia concerning a security interest vesting dispute pursuant to the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth)

Justin was admitted in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia in 2014 following the completion of his law degree. Justin was called to the Cayman Islands Bar in February 2018.
