Collas Crill has appointed David Thom as Counsel in its Bermuda office, enhancing the firm’s strength in complex commercial and insurance disputes.
David joins with extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, advising clients on a wide range of corporate, insurance and professional liability matters. He is particularly experienced in handling complex, high-value disputes.
He has developed notable expertise in Bermuda merger appraisal litigation, having acted for dissenting shareholders in a significant proportion of cases brought before the Supreme Court in recent years.
Alongside this, David brings considerable experience in contentious insurance matters, advising insurers and reinsurers in both Bermuda and the London market on coverage disputes and Bermuda Form arbitrations. He also regularly defends professional services firms facing liability claims.
