Collas Crill celebrates ten years in Cayman

Last week the Cayman team celebrated its ten year anniversary, marking a decade of Collas Crill in Cayman with a party for staff and clients.

Reflecting on the milestone, Gina Berry, Cayman Managing Partner, said: 'As we look to our future, it's only right that we reflect on our past.

Confucius put it best: 'If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want ten years of prosperity, grow trees. If you want a hundred years of prosperity, grow people.'

'So as we celebrate ten remarkable years in Cayman, we’re really celebrating people—the extraordinary clients, colleagues, and friends who have made this journey possible—and looking forward to future growth together.

Our story here has been one of bold steps. The merger of Collas Day and Crill Canavan in 2011. The 2015 merger with CARD, which brought us to the Caribbean and to the Cayman Islands. September of that same year we had already outgrown our premises and relocated to Cricket Square.

On 1 January 2016 we formally became Collas Crill Cayman, and we haven’t stopped growing since. Today, we stand 60-people strong in Cayman, part of a global team of 250.

Our growth tells a story not just of expansion, but of people coming together to build something enduring.

We’ve been fortunate to have incredibly insightful leadership along the way, a strong legacy which I am honoured to take forward with my fellow Cayman partners Rocco Cecere, Matt Dors, Zachary Hoskin, Chantelle Day, Andrew Peedom and Justina Stewart.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with our team which includes, Finance Managers, Denisia Groves and Staceia Ebanks-Lavelle; Business Development Head, Henriette Lindenberg; HR & Practice Manager, Tiffany Turrell; Corporate Services Manager, Patrice Boothe; Compliance and Regulatory Service Heads, Sherry Francella and Galajo Bah; and IT Manager, Michael Lewis. Not to mention the many other members of the Cayman team who make it a truly joyful experience to come to work each and every day.

The party wasn’t about balance sheets or headcounts - it was about people, connections, and a bit of gratitude.

Our growth tells a story of resilience, ambition, and community.

We’re proud of the exceptional work we do for our clients, but equally proud of the work we do in our community. Community is a huge part of our identity. Our DNA. From Pilates for Pink and Monte Carlo Night in support of breast cancer awareness, to the interscholastic Moot competition, scholarships and mentoring, to the Brenda Tibbetts-Lund Walk/Run—which, as a Lions Club member, is particularly close to my heart—our team shows up, pink shirts and all, with generosity and spirit.

We’ve tried to give back as much as we’ve grown. I like to think that our 'pink connection' shows who we are: a firm that takes its work seriously, but never forgets to stand with our community.

We couldn’t do any of this without our clients, colleagues, and friends. All of them are the reason we get to do what we love, and the reason we’re celebrating with music, memories, and even a piece of art we’ll create together to commemorate this milestone.

So here's:

•    to ten years in Cayman, and many more ahead
•    to the people who have made this journey extraordinary
•    to a bold and bright future filled with growth, purpose and yes...

... just a little more pink!
