Collas Crill welcomes new attorney to Cayman dispute resolution team

Collas Crill has appointed new Senior Associate Mark Burrows to its growing dispute resolution team in the Cayman Islands.

Mark specialises in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation and regularly advises clients on a range of areas including the winding-up and restructuring of insolvent companies, shareholder disputes, directors’ duties, asset recovery and share appraisal litigation, notably under s.238 of the Cayman Companies Act. He is admitted to the Bars of Bermuda (non-practising) and the Cayman Islands.

Mark joins Collas Crill following five years with another leading offshore law firm. He is a member of INSOL (International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankrupty Professionals) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

Cayman managing partner and head of dispute resolution Stephen Leontsinis said: 'I'm delighted to welcome Mark to our talented and growing team as we continue to take on more high-value, multi-jurisdictional work.

'Mark's expertise and experience in some of our fastest growing markets – including section 238 proceedings – will be a huge asset for us and, of course, our clients.'
