Experience

Graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Politics in 2025. Have a diverse background that combines professional, volunteer and customer-facing work. Have worked in both retail and hospitality, developing strong inter-personal and communication skills. Have commitments to meaningful causes reflected through work for Children Not Numbers which aims to support and liase with families of sick children in Palestine and helps to provide medical aid and coordinate evacuations. I have gained valuable insight and professional experience by working at a Private Bank, enhancing my understanding of client engagement. My person-centred approach to work is rooted in my work as a Swim School Teacher and Camp Counsellor in the US, where I learned the importance of empathy, adaptability and clear communication.

" I have a strong academic background in International relations and pride myself in my attention to detail in case studies and academic literature, enabling me to become fully immersed in everything I do. I enjoy problem solving and immersing myself in complex matters, especially when working with teams of intellectual and impressive individuals. I am empathetic with a strong code of values and these qualities mean that I enjoy interacting with a variety of people and building relationships."

Background

Have had extensive experience working with a variety of people from all backgrounds and ages which has enabled a strong ability to built relationships and communicate with people. I have also lived abroad and so have experienced multiple cultures and environments and met a diverse number of people. These skills have been enhanced through experience working at more casual roles such as a Swim Teacher, a Camp Counsellor and Hospitality, alongside more Professional Roles with organisations such as Investec which enabled the development of professional skills and managing sensitive information. Currently volunteering for Children Not Numbers which is a medical charity organisation which aims to help Palestinian children. This has enhanced my online and Microsoft skills due to the role being online.
