Emma Carvalho is an Associate within the firm's Corporate, Banking and Finance team. She has experience across a broad range of banking and finance, corporate, and real estate finance matters.
During her training contract with the firm, Emma assisted on a variety of Jersey and BVI banking and finance transactions, complex corporate matters and large-scale corporate restructurings. She also gained experience in debt recovery, real estate, dispute resolution and private client and trusts before qualifying into the Corporate, Banking and Finance team.
Prior to joining the firm, Emma worked as a legal secretary and paralegal within the property law team of another offshore law firm, where she assisted with residential and commercial property transactions while studying for her law degree.
Emma graduated from the University of Reading in 2023 with a First Class LLB (Hons) in Law. She subsequently qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route.
