Joshua has a growing litigation practice ranging from commercial disputes to public law issues. He has experience in oral and written advocacy before the High Court and Court of Appeal. He has assisted with matters before the Privy Council.
Experience
Joshua was called to the Trinidad and Tobago Bar in 2018. He began under the supervision of a senior commercial attorney in Trinidad and Tobago where he gained experience in high-value commercial matters. Joshua moved to a boutique commercial firm in 2020 where he represented corporate clients, public authorities and companies in matters ranging from personal injuries and adverse possession to trusts and enforcing mortgagor’s duties.
Background
Joshua is a Chevening Scholar (2022). He obtained a Bachelor of Law from University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2016 and the Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2018.
Joshua is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration and obtained an LLM in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution (with distinction) from Queen Mary University of London. He participated in the Paris Arbitration Academy 2023, a three-week intensive course on arbitration hosted by the International Academy for Arbitration Law (brainchild of the late Emmanuel Gaillard).
