Leanne Christmas

Leanne is an experienced risk and compliance leader with a career spanning internal audit, external audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She has held senior leadership positions, including Chief Compliance Officer and Risk Director, and has worked extensively across the financial services sector, including retail banking, consumer finance, and private banking. Her experience also extends to the public sector and media organisations.

A Chartered Accountant since 2007, Leanne has built her career within complex, regulated environments in both the UK and India. She brings deep expertise in governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks, with a strong track record of operating across international and cross-border businesses. Her broad industry knowledge and practical leadership experience enable her to support organisations in navigating regulatory change, strengthening risk culture, and delivering effective governance outcomes.
