Leanne is a Consultant for Collas Crill Regulatory and Compliance in Jersey.
She is a senior financial services executive with extensive experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level across banking, consumer finance and regulatory consulting environments. Having held Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer responsibilities, including FCA Senior Management Functions (SMF16 and SMF17), she brings a unique perspective on regulatory remediation from both a governance and delivery standpoint.
Experience
A Fellow Chartered Accountant and former British Army Officer, Leanne has held senior leadership positions with organisations including Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Alpha Bank, Aldermore Bank, MotoNovo Finance, BMW Financial Services, Barclays and RSM.
Throughout her career she has been responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of risk, compliance and governance frameworks, while maintaining direct accountability for regulatory relationships and supervisory engagement.
Leanne has significant hands-on experience leading complex remediation and transformation programmes in highly regulated environments. As Risk Director and Executive Committee member at MotoNovo Finance, she was responsible for major remediation initiatives, operational risk framework redesign, governance enhancement and conduct risk oversight. Earlier, as Chief Compliance Officer at BMW Financial Services, she led regulatory engagement, voluntary notifications and large-scale operational and compliance improvements, helping the organisation navigate significant regulatory change while strengthening governance and customer outcomes.
Background
Her experience spans conduct risk, operational resilience, governance, consumer protection, prudential and non-financial risk management, as well as large-scale business transformation initiatives. Having personally held senior regulatory accountability roles, Leanne understands the practical challenges firms face when responding to regulatory findings and implementing sustainable change. Her ability to assess remediation from the perspective of both senior management and regulators enables her to provide insightful, commercially pragmatic challenge and assurance.
