Overview

Oliver is a Trainee Solicitor, currently undertaking his second seat in the firm’s International Private Client and Trusts team in Jersey.

Experience

Prior to joining Collas Crill in September 2022, Oliver was a Paralegal for three years, working at three firms in London; Macfarlanes, Slater and Gordon and Wallace. During his experience working in London, he worked across commercial and property litigation matters, and collective actions. In addition to this, he has worked in the finance industry at companies such as KPMG, Deloitte, State Street Bank and Sanne Group.

Background

In 2017, Oliver graduated from the University of Exeter with an Upper Second-Class Degree in Business and Management. Following this, he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, achieving a Commendation and Distinction respectively.

Having undertaken his first seat in Collas Crill's Dispute Resolution team, Oliver has recently moved to the International Private Client and Trusts team.

We have an extensive range of experience in terms of particular products or service lines, including pensions and Shariah, and many of the team have worked in the other international off and onshore jurisdictions prominent in the world of wealth management. We have associated skills in dispute resolution, risk and regulatory, and image protection. We ensure that thought has been given to the composition of the team on every piece of work we do, and use our mix of skill and experience effectively.
