Collas Crill Associates Amy Davies and Jazzmin Le Prevost have been admitted to the Guernsey Bar.
Amy joined Collas Crill in 2022 and is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team. Her practice encompasses a range of work, including regulatory, financial services disputes and criminal.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and gained her Higher Rights of Audience in England and Wales a year later.
Amy started her career in criminal defence, before commissioning as an Officer in the Army Legal Service. This saw her posted within the UK and overseas.
Upon leaving the Army Amy joined the Crown Prosecution Service, where she undertook a broad range of criminal work. Before joining Collas Crill Amy spent two years specialising in financial crime prevention at a private bank.
Amy said: 'I am honoured to be called into a body that prides itself on its professionalism and commitment to accessible justice. None of this would have been possible without the support and encouragement of my colleagues, friends and most importantly my family. I am extremely proud to become the second Advocate Davies in my marriage.'
Jazzmin is an Associate working in the matrimonial team of the Family Law practice in Guernsey.
She has experience in most general litigation matters, having worked in Collas Crill's Dispute Resolution team for a number of years.
In March 2021 she took up her position in the matrimonial team within the Family Law practice and is now involved in various aspects of matrimonial and children law.
Jazzmin qualified as an English Solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in 2022. She was one of the first people to do so nationally via this route.
On being called to the Guernsey Bar Jazzmin said: 'I am delighted to be admitted as an Advocate of the Guernsey Bar today, after what feels like a lifetime of studying and exams. A special thank you to my family, friends and ever supportive colleagues, who have all been there for every step forward, and every step back.'
