Collas Crill has welcomed four new trainee solicitors to the firm as part of its trainee programme in the Channel Islands.
Joining the firm this year are Sophie Duquemin and Izabella Dupre in Guernsey, alongside Erin Boyle and Luke Proudfoot in Jersey.
The appointments reflect the firm's continued investment in developing the next generation of legal talent across its jurisdictions.
Collas Crill's training contract provides aspiring lawyers with a structured and comprehensive route to qualification. Over a two-year period, trainees complete at least four six-month seats across different practice areas, gaining exposure to a broad range of legal work and developing the skills required for a successful legal career.
Throughout the programme, trainees work closely with experienced lawyers and supervisors who provide mentoring, training and regular feedback.
From the outset, they are encouraged to play an active role within their teams, undertaking legal research, drafting documents and attending client meetings. Each trainee is also assigned a dedicated buddy to provide guidance and support throughout their training journey.
The four trainees were drawn to Collas Crill by a combination of the firm's supportive culture, the strength of its trainee programme and the opportunity to learn from lawyers across a wide range of practice areas.
They cited the firm's commitment to professional development, collaborative working environment and clear opportunities for long-term career progression as key factors in their decision to join the firm.
Several were also attracted by the chance to train alongside fellow trainees and to build their careers within a firm where many senior lawyers and partners began their own legal journeys as trainees.
