Collas Crill's corporate and commercial practice continues to grow

Collas Crill's Corporate and Commercial team is expanding to meet increasing demand with the appointment of associate Alexandra Gill.

Alexandra joins the firm from Bird & Bird LLP in London, a leading international law firm. Based in Guernsey, her practice covers a range of corporate and commercial matters, including: banking, funds, listings and company law advice. She also has a particular focus on advising clients on a number of commercial legal issues including: software, publishing and data licences, IP, confidentiality, data protection and privacy-related issues.

Her appointment follows the recent additions of senior associate Tristan Ozanne, associate Simon Heggs and associate Shruta Nayak who joined the firm in August this year. David Moore, one of Guernsey's leading corporate lawyers, also recently joined the team as a consultant.

Collas Crill group partner and head of corporate & commercial, Paul Wilkes, said: "Alexandra's appointment reflects the continued growth of our team as we expand to accommodate an ever-increasing number of instructions, while continuing to deliver the hands-on, responsive service our clients expect.

"Our practice has experienced rapid growth in the last 12 months, following the merger with CARD (Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth) in Cayman and the appointment of six new fee earners. Alexandra's knowledge and experience will be a valuable addition to our Corporate & Commercial offering and I am pleased to welcome her to the team."
