Senior partner raises over £3,000 for charity in White Collar Darts

Nuno Santos-Costa, Senior Partner and award winning lawyer at Collas Crill has raised over £3,000 for a local Jersey charity by taking part in Brighter Future's White Collar Darts event.

The fundraising event which was held on Friday 28 February, saw 16 amateur players compete against each other at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.

Nuno took part in regular training with his coach Eddie the Eagle, prior to the competition in which his stage name was 'The Guv'nor'.

He said: 'Brighter Futures is an extremely worthwhile charity that focuses on supporting local families and young people, something I'm particularly passionate about, so was keen to support this event – even if it involved humiliating myself!

'Its important to thank all those who gave generously to raise such a terrific amount in fundraising efforts, as well as mention my coach Eddie whose assistance was second to none. The time and effort given to all players by their coaches was exceptional.

'Throughout my time at Collas Crill, we have keenly encouraged our people to get involved in supporting charitable causes, which they have very much done in this case through donations and coming along to support me on the night.'

Staying true to the firm's famous pink branding, Nuno competed in his personalised shirt in front of an audience of hundreds, including his family and colleagues who attended to support him.
