Simon Hurry is admitted to the Cayman Bar

Congratulations to Partner Simon Hurry who has been admitted to the Cayman Bar by the Honourable Justice Jalil Asif.

Simon relocated to the Cayman Islands from Jersey in October 2024, having previously spent a number of years on secondment prior to his stint in the Channel Islands.

'I am delighted to have returned to our Cayman Islands office having been part of the dispute resolution team when Collas Crill merged with CARD (Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth) in 2015. The Cayman Islands office has gone from strength to strength since that time and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of our global insolvency and corporate disputes offering,' he said.

Partner Matthew Dors said: 'We are thrilled to welcome Simon back to our Cayman Islands office. Simon played a key role in the establishment of the firm's Cayman Islands office from 2015 to 2017 before returning to Jersey to develop and ultimately lead the firm's insolvency practice in that jurisdiction. His return to the Cayman Islands further strengthens our Insolvency and Corporate Disputes team in this key jurisdiction.'
