Solid rankings for Collas Crill in 2024 Legal 500 Caribbean

Collas Crill's teams in the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands have received a solid set of results in the latest Legal 500 directory.

In the BVI the dispute resolution team has moved up to tier 3, with the Cayman corporate team being listed by Legal 500 as a 'firm to watch' in the banking, finance and capital markets category.

Sally Peedom, senior associate in the private client team in Cayman, has been ranked as a Rising Star for the first time.

This year's edition also recognises a number of other Collas Crill's individual lawyers in the categories of Leading Individual, Next Generation Partner, Rising Star and Recommended.

Cayman Managing Partner Stephen Leontsinis said: 'Reading the testimonials from our valued clients in this year's guide, there are a few words and phrases that stand out – exceptional, high quality, go above the call of duty, outstanding, best in the business. I am extremely proud of this type of feedback from our clients as it recognises the high level of service our teams provide to our business partners. I am particularly proud to see that the hard work of Jo Hossack and Natalie Bell has been recognised with the 'firm to watch' accolade in banking, finance and capital markets. Our teams, across the board in the Cayman Islands, are growing from strength to strength, thanks, in no small part to the continued support of our loyal clients.’

BVI Managing Partner Ellie Crespi said: 'Congratulations to our dispute resolution team for their promotion to tier 3. I'm particularly delighted to see so many of our lawyers name-checked and recognised this year – Annabel Bishop gained a mention in both banking and corporate just months after joining us and I'm delighted the directories have recognised the strategic hire of corporate Goliath Greg Boyd. As ever, thanks to all our clients who took the time to submit feedback – we are delighted to be delivering the service levels they command and deserve.'

The Legal 500 is an independent guide, in which firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit. It is now in its 37th year.
