We are hosting a free event to help people make sense of the local inheritance laws and guide them through the process of making a will.
Group partner of wills estates and private client services, Joanne Seal, who will be hosting the event in Guernsey says:
“Guernsey and Jersey's intricate inheritance laws will dictate what happens to your estate if you do not leave a valid Will in place when you die. So often we see the difficulties that families experience when someone passes away and their wishes haven't been properly, and legally, recorded. It is so important to have a Will in place, not only to ensure that your family has peace of mind but also to be certain that your estate will pass in the way you wish.”
The event is also to launch the partnership between Collas Crill and national charity Cancer Research UK. Under the terms of the partnership, Cancer Research will contribute towards the cost of making a Will with Collas Crill.
When: Tuesday 31 May 2016
What time: 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Guernsey: Collas Crill, Glategny Court, Glategny Esplanade, St Peter Port
Jersey: Collas Crill, 40 Don Street, St Helier
The events will take place in the Collas Crill offices in Guernsey and Jersey and are open to anyone. Teas and coffees will be served.
If you would like to discuss your will or find out more about the service please contact Joanne Seal.
