Collas Crill Guernsey Managing Partner, Christian Hay, will be speaking at the KNect365 and Contra Trusts in Litigation Conference which will be held in Helsinki on Thursday 6 – Friday February.
The conference will cover trust litigation as well as taking a wider view of where trusts interact with other areas, such as civil fraud, insolvency, real estate and matrimonial work. This will allow attendees to mix with both trust litigators and a range of different other specialists.
Christian will be speaking on a quick fire debate entitled 'Debate: Have the Courts strayed away from the correct principles on privilege involving trustees? Was Lewis v Tamplin right or wrong? Was Re the R Trusts right or wrong? Is the fad for seeking disclosure through data protection rights at an end?'.
