Collas Crill makes appointment in Guernsey IPCT team

Collas Crill Guernsey has recruited a new associate to its multi-award winning IPCT team.

Stephanie Setters, who previously worked for the firm in the Jersey office, was appointed in September to support Group Partner Joanne Seal in the International Private Client & Trusts team.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2010, and an Advocate in 2013, Stephanie works to advise local and international clients on: wills and estate planning, estate administration, probate, guardianships, powers of attorney and trusts.

She has extensive experience of advising on a broad range of Guernsey private client and property issues in the offshore private client field.

During 2015, Stephanie worked as Jersey's Probate Registrar, which she says has given her 'a unique insight and knowledge of the Jersey laws of inheritance and associated probate procedures'.

Group Partner Joanne Seal who leads Guernsey's wills and estates and private client services said: 'Bringing Stephanie on board will allow us to further strengthen our private client services.

'Her experience and Channel Islands knowledge means that she is a real asset to the team, and we were are so excited to welcome her back to Collas Crill.'

The Guernsey IPCT team recently retained its Band 3 position in the Chambers & Partners 2020 UK listings.
