Collas Crill sponsors and hosts STEP Guernsey Student Introductory Series event

Collas Crill is delighted to sponsor and host the third event in the STEP Guernsey's Student Introductory Series.

Angela Calnan and Cerisse Fisher will be speaking on the topic of 'An introduction to Guernsey charities'.

In April 2022, Guernsey re-vamped its charities legislation which has led to a flurry of activity in this space both in terms of existing charities needing to respond to the new law and bring their organisations into line and also in terms of Guernsey emerging as a centre of excellence for charities and non-profit organisations.

In their presentation Angela and Cerisse will look at the new legal landscape for domestic and international charities/NPOs who are based in Guernsey and also pause to consider what drives people to give and why there has been an increased focus on acting for the greater good post-pandemic.

Aimed at students, trainees and junior staff, this STEP event gives attendees the opportunity to network with peers and direct any questions to the speakers in a relaxed environment over pizza and a drink. The event is taking place at Collas Crill's offices on Glategny Esplanade.
