Intellectual Property and Image Rights

Intellectual Property (IP) represents the intangible value of a business, such as goodwill or brand value. Our experience in this sector enables us to assist businesses to identify, manage and exploit this value across a wide range of IP related services. As the only offshore law firm to have its own dedicated IP business, we are uniquely placed to offer a wide range of IP services to our clients, and are able to register trade marks throughout the world, whether directly or through our network agents. We also re-register patents in both Guernsey and Jersey. In addition to these traditional forms of IP we are the agents for the unique Guernsey Image Rights, enabling and managing registrations in this exciting new area of IP.
