A Senior Associate of the Corporate, Finance and Funds team in the Collas Crill BVI office, Richard's areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, private debt and equity financing, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, commercial contracts, corporate restructurings and re-organisations, intellectual property, data protection and technology and employee share schemes.
Richard joined us in September 2018, from the corporate commercial department of ByrneWallace, Dublin. He has also worked as legal counsel for Agile Investment Limited and McEvoy Partners Solicitors.
With a commercial approach to transaction work and an understanding of complex business matters, Richard has extensive experience in advising on corporate M&A transactions in the logistics, construction, retail pharmacy and technology sectors and in advising on private equity leveraged buyouts. He has also advised numerous clients on debt and equity fundraising/investments in the technology, finance, manufacturing, retail and consulting sectors.
Following his studies in Business, Economics and Social Studies at Trinity College, Richard qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2010, and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2010. He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor and a member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.
