Khetha is an an accomplished corporate attorney with extensive experience in general corporate and commercial law, due diligence, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions transactions and regulatory matters across a broad spectrum of industries including mining, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, renewable energy and the public sector.

Khetha also has strong expertise in structuring and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, agreements, transactions and legal relationships.

Experience

Khetha has been practising as an attorney for the past eight years. He began his legal career at ENSafrica, which is Africa's largest law firm, before joining Pinsent Masons in South Africa.

Khetha has advised on a number of key transactions including:

  • a leading German multinational conglomerate company in the acquisition of the business of its key customer;
  • a leading software business with the purchase of another software business that is primarily based in the UK with two subsidiaries in South Africa;
  • a leading Spanish multinational corporation on how to go about disposing of its equity in a special purpose vehicle responsible for the construction of a major solar thermal plant in South Africa;
  • the South African subsidiary of a leading Dutch multinational technology company headquartered in Amsterdam currently operating in the healthcare and lighting sectors with the restructuring of its shareholding; and
  • one of the top five largest transportation companies in the world, currently operating and maintaining one of the most cutting edge rail system in South Africa with a transaction wherein they increased their shareholding in the South African entity they hold equity in.
