Shelagh has over 30 years experience in the law and of the property industry. She advises on all aspects of UK property and property development, property portfolio and management and corporate and trustee property services. She also advises on commercial property matters and leasehold matters in Guernsey.

Prior to moving to Guernsey in 1999, Shelagh was a senior partner at Edge Ellison. Shelagh established Mason & Co in 2001 which merged with Spicer & Partners Guernsey LLP in 2010. She joined Collas Crill as a Consultant in December 2014.

Shelagh specialises in getting inside a client's business needs to provide a comprehensive service. She has acted for many plc companies and individuals providing an excellent service to developers, offshore lenders, companies and particularly those where property is not their core business.

Shelagh is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, the Guernsey International Legal Association, the Association of Women Solicitors and the Chamber of Commerce. She is the past Chairman of the Institute of Directors Guernsey branch and she also sits on the Guernsey Tax Tribunal.

Shelagh is a non-executive director of several companies and has obtained the Institute of Directors Certificate and diploma in Company Direction with distinction.
