Insolvency and Corporate Disputes

Overview

Anneka is an Associate in the Insolvency and Corporate Disputes team in the BVI, having joined from another leading offshore law firm in January 2019.

She assists the Insolvency and Corporate Disputes team in a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research and debt collection.

Experience

Anneka advises clients on applications for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration before the BVI court. Anneka also advises clients on applications to restore BVI companies to the Register of Companies at the Registry of Corporate Affairs and advises on applications to terminate BVI liquidations.

Background

Previously, Anneka lived in Ghana, Africa working as a volunteer for the Legal Aid Centre providing legal advice to members of the community.

Prior to joining Collas Crill Anneka completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with the University of West of England, obtaining a Commendation and her LLB (Hons) at the University of Manchester.

Anneka was admitted as a Solicitor of the BVI Court in June 2023.
