Bonnie is a Relationship Manager in the Business Development team. She moved from the International Private Client and Trusts team in January 2022. With her extensive knowledge of our clients, services and people, Bonnie works closely with the Jersey partners to drive local business development strategies and client relationships in this client-facing role. She is the link between teams to maximise inter-office and inter-jurisdictional collaboration opportunities and client intelligence.
Bonnie joined Collas Crill in 2016, and has since gained a breadth of experience including, in addition to trusts, commercial and dispute resolution matters. This enables her to offer trust clients a more rounded service and advise on both non-contentious and contentious trust matters.
In particular, Bonnie was a pivotal member of the team that worked on a high value contentious trust matter, which involved multi-jurisdictional complex tax and fiduciary related issues. During her career at Collas Crill she was seconded to a private bank, giving her first hand experience and awareness of the other side of the client relationship.
Background
Prior to joining Collas Crill, Bonnie worked as an Associate in the Employment Team at another leading offshore law firm, out of both their Guernsey and London offices.
Bonnie completed her Legal Practice Course (with Distinction) and Bar Professional Training Course (with Outstanding) at BPP University in London. In recognition of achieving the highest grade on the Bar course, she was awarded a Certificate of Honours. She is a member of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Bonnie was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011, and was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2018.
